PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sweet oranges simmered slowly with sugar until the peel turns glossy and golden.

Orange Marmalade opens bright and sunny with juicy orange, mandarin and a hint of cinnamon. At the heart, bitter orange peel and orange blossom bring that unmistakable homemade-marmalade depth, softened by a touch of amaretto. Warm spices and a smooth amber base leave a sweet, comforting trail, like marmalade on warm toast — all year round, in candles, wax melts and reed diffusers.

New formulation. Orange Marmalade (previously sold as Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper) has been reformulated. It keeps the same marmalade character with a simpler safety profile: it is no longer classified as toxic for reproduction (no GHS08 pictogram) and is no longer regulated as dangerous goods for transport. If you already use this fragrance, please download the new SDS, IFRA and allergen documents in the Technical Documentation tab, update your product labels and make a small test batch before full production, as the scent may differ slightly from the previous version.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The choice of desirable fragrance oil is, without a doubt, the most important aspect when it comes to producing goods people will fall in love with.

• These are the fragrance oils from the Eco Candle Project for making your scented candles, diffusers, and melts. Ideal for all candle, diffuser, and melt-making businesses, hobbyists, and individuals.
• These fragrances are produced using premium ingredients, made in the EU, from the same suppliers of the top brands in the market.
• It may not be necessary to use the maximum FO (fragrance oil) load in your products. For wax products, we suggest you commence testing at 6% and increase the fragrance load up to the maximum IFRA fragrance usage for your corresponding finished product as detailed in each product.
• Reed diffusers: maximum 10.8% fragrance in the finished diffuser (IFRA Category 10A). Room sprays (Category 10B): max 10.8%. Candles and wax melts (Category 12): no IFRA restriction.
• All fragrances are 100% concentrated; we suggest that you test our fragrances in finished products before you make any conclusions.
• Other testing notes should never take the place of your testing. Always test fragrance in all applications. We do not take responsibility if our test results differ from yours. Any final goods manufactured using our raw materials are not the responsibility of the Eco Candle Project.
• We advise you not to smell the fragrance oil directly from the bottle, as it is a concentrated substance! You can test the smell by applying a small amount of it to a strip of paper or a small amount of warm water. Evaluate the true smell only in the final product!
• This fragrance meets European standards: IFRA (51st Amendment), CLP/REACH and Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 (fragrance allergens). It is important to respect the recommended dosages (see the Technical Documentation tab) and comply with the strictest global RIFM and IFRA standards.
• All fragrances are paraben-free.
• All fragrances are vegan.
• All fragrances are cruelty-free.
• All fragrances are fair trade.
• All fragrances are packaged either in aluminum bottles or phthalate-free, recyclable PET plastic bottles.
• Phthalate-free (phthalate, or more precisely diethyl phthalate (DEP), is sometimes present in some fragrances). DEP is not classified as hazardous under current regulations; it is commonly used in perfumery and cosmetics and should not be confused with the phthalates banned in toys (CMR substances).

Due to the risk of contamination, all fragrance sales are final. As such, we suggest that you test smaller sizes.
